Large Cabinet

The Large Cabinet was originally intended to serve as a porcelain cabinet.

Around 1750 its ceiling picture was replaced with stucco-work of exceptional artistry by Adam Rudolf Albini. With its park scenes and fountains and imaginative Chinese creatures, this ceiling is one of the best examples of stucco-work from the Rococo period.
